Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system

The Programmed Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) utilises the DELPHI ECU system that accurately controls ignition timing during start up, providing optimum overall operation, with instant throttle response and fuel efficient performance.

Better Performance

Employing independent pencil-coil (COP) ignition system, providing more efficient use of ignition energy, better combustion and more reliable overall operation.

Digital Control

Fly-by-wire digital control means quicker installation, as well as the ability to manage multiple motors at the same time all working in unison.

More Quiet

HDEF150 EFI features quiet operation due to being a powerful 4-cylinder 4-stroke motor combined with the Reverse Exhaust Relief system, redirecting exhaust gas through propeller in the water.

Quick Starts

The Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system, automatically adjusts the air-fuel mixture for quick, easy starting and warming-up. By utilising Variable Valve Timing (VVT-i) fine adjustments are made to air intake timing based on the engine's operating condition, providing leaner burning of fuel and thus fuel efficiency.

Engine Alert System

Engine Alert System, it constantly monitors vital engine functions and reduces the likelihood of damage by alerting the driver of overheating, low oil pressure and other critical engine functions.

Power Thrust Design

The HDEF150 EFI are using a higher gear ratio to provide these engines with extraordinary forward and reverse thrust for improved maneuverability and performance.

Cruising Fuel Economy

The EFI system automatically adjusts the air-fuel mix according to speed and load, this maximizes power throughout the RPM range will save up to 20% less fuel than other comparably sized outboards in the cruise speed.

NMEA2000 compatible

Plug and play NMEA2000 compatibility, display engine data to NMEA2000 device such as sounder screen.
