Hidea background

Hidea outboards have been manufactured for over 15 years and distributed in 36 countries around the world including Australia. We recently re-released Hidea in Australia and now setting up our dealer and service agent network. Both 4-stroke and 4-stroke EFI are available, ranging from 2.5 to 130HP and soon as big as 250HP. Backed by a 5-year warranty program for private use and 1-year for commercial use. In some markets such as Malaysia, Hidea outboards are used for about 95% commercial applications and in Brasil, Hidea sales have overtaken the more known brands.

Hidea motors are robust and reliable, I have been using one since 2017 and just to test its reliability and robustness it has never been serviced. Touch the starter key and it starts straight away. We have a 2018 model 60HP EFI that was previously used as a demo motor and when removed from the demo boat, the motor had not been flushed with freshwater, as it had been used exclusively in salt water. It sat for 3.5 years in the carton and when removed showed some salt crystals around the anode. It was rigged to a bass boat and tested in the tank. Everything was fine and the impeller did not need changing. So if you are looking for a great value outboard motor, please consider a Hidea.
